Afternoon Snack

So since summer is here now, here is a afternoon snack that is light and healthy and will fill you up and its super easy to make and can take it on the go! 
Apple with Greek yogurt
What you need: 
Apple
Greek Yogurt
Peanut Butter
Honey 
Cinnamon

How to make it: 
1. Mix Greek Yogurt, peanut butter, cinnamon and honey together 
2. Cut apple - you can add any other fruit you have 

So Simple and delicious!!

Life after University

So this past weekend I graduated from college!! Can't believe its already been 4 years! What to do now since you don't have any homework or finals to study for. Now I just work full time as a line cook at a senior living center- pretty awesome job get to cook for about 220 people daily.
I think the best part of graduating was being able to do it with my best friend/roommate!

New lifestyle

So.. Starting today was the first day of my vegetarian diet. I started this diet because the past couple weeks whenever I eat any type of meat I would get sick Pretty much to the point where the sight or smell of food made me sick and didn't want to eat at all - which isn't good. 
At first I thought it was just the type of meat or where I had the meat. Not so much it didn't matter which restaurant or friends place or  even at my apartment no such luck! So I'm going to try a Lacto- Ovo Vegetarian diet from now until Feb 22 ( The start of my spring break) to see how I feel.  
So for the next month this what I can't have: 
No red meat, poultry or fish 
gelatin, animal glycerine, rennet, animal- based flavorings, animal fat 

What I Can have: 
diary,  soy products, eggs, veggies, fruit 

So We'll see how this month goes.. who knows I might stay with this lifestyle!
